Here are some thoughts on what iteans to be teachable.

When You Don't Understand or Are Overwhelmed with Information

  • You ask questions
  • If something is over your head, you seek guidance from a guide or mentor to learn everything they know
  • You don't consider specially talented people as magical, but as people who put in the time, commitment, and paid the price for becoming outstanding
  • You view extraordinary talent as something that you can attain if you want - if you are willing to pay the price to get there

New Information

Your relationship to new knowledge and learned ng is

  • You always look for mind expansion from serious books and other readings.
  • You believe in lifelong learning
  • You have the humility to know that the more you know, the more you appreciate how little you know about everything

Curiosity and Creativity

  • You are curious because you don't make assumptions that you already know
  • You easily change me up with new ideas because you have an open mind
  • You are not filled with envy from others' accomplishments, but instead, you see them as an opportunity for learning

Coaches And Mentors

  • You seek out coaches and mentors actively, as you think you can learn more from good teachers rather than by yourself
  • You are able to assess if somebody has more skill than you. If you do, you want to learn from them

Collaboration

  • You understand that you can learn more with others than by yourself, and that you can get more accomplished when you collaborate rather than go solo.
