Wind turbine tower

Wind turbine tower is the supporting parts of a wind turbine.

Its function is to support the blades and the turbine on the top while absorbing the vibration from the working motor.

According to CNBM wind turbine tower company, there are 3 types of wind turbine tower: the tubular steel wind turbine tower, the lattice tower, and the concrete tower.

No matter what material the wind turbine tower is made of, a complete wind turbine tower is always fabricated in segments.

The reason is that tower segments can be transported easier by a trailer truck. These segments will be installed at the wind farm site and fixed with wind turbine flanges.
