Welders

• Verify 8 welders are operational, and log their status -

• Welder 1 - Big Blue -
• Welder 2 - Whiteface -
• Welder 3 -
• Welder 4 -
• Welder 5 -
• Welder 6 -
• Welder 9 - Millermatic 35
• Welder 7 - Megamig -
• Welder 8 - Hobart -

• Asssess level of Liner Clogs
• 3 spare liners
• 10 spare tips
• 5 spare tip guards
• 5 spare tip insulators
• 4 spare welder wire rolls
• Verify dirt guard and fluid level
• Verify Number of available outlets
• Check 240V doubler cord
• Verify 2 3 phase sockets

Liner Clogging

• Liner clogs have been common to date. To check for liner clog:

1. Disengage wire feeder
2. Straighten gun
3. Pull wire with pliers
4. If it's easy to pull - ok
5. If not, retract wire, blow out the liner with compressor, and check if wire can be pulled easily. The compressor should blow out a lot of particles.
6. If compressor does not work - take out liner, whack it around against a hard flat surface to loosen dirt - and blow out again.

Power Tools

• Verify 4 abrasive cutoffs are in order, and one spare
• 10 spare 14" cutting disks
• Verify mag drill is in order, with annular cutter connection + coolant bottle
• Verify bandsaw blade is sharp, 1 spare
• Verify 4 15A grinders are in working order, with 1 spare
• Verify 4 9A gringers are operational
• Verify 8 5A grinders are operational
• 5 spare 9" grinder wheels
• 5 spare 7" grinder wheels
• 10 spare 4-1/2" grinder wheels
• Verify ironworker is in good working order.
• Verify hole puncher is in order
