We are currently planning an Open Source GIS Workshop for July 20, featuring the OSGeo team, John Motloch (pending), and Philip Lewis (pending).
Unfortunately I'm unlikely to have time to help you out with teaching at the moment, but do let me know when it is so I can keep an eye out for it.
