Basics
- One of the tools used in a Prosumer/Professional Photo/Video Workflow
- Used for video organization (what is the video file, without needing to watch through it) and Audio Syncing
- Some also generate timecode, and/or have color/autofocus calibration tools
- For simple videos, a simple hand clap and/or announcement should work
- For inbetween workflows a semi-filled out one will work
- For Complex Workflows (Many Cameras, Many Takes, etc) a fully filled out and properly used one is essential
- There is a loosely standardized way of using them and filling them out as defined by the videos in the "Useful Links" section
- A non autofocus/color device should be very easy to 3d print (Base, clapper, and locking pin, as well as a paper insert/whiteboard painted side
