Basics
- Any chemical used to etch metal
- Typically used in regards to PCB manufacturing, but can also have other uses such as metal finishes, and semiconductor production
Common Etchants
PCB Manufacture
- Copper Chloride Reusable either via dillution, or via chemical processing
- Ferric chloride
- Copper Sulphate ? may require electricity to "pull" the copper off from the unprotected areas. Is this worth it and will it work
