Product Excreting Algae

Basics

• Could be abbreviated with the nicely marketable PEA? (is this already done anywhere?)
• Algae that has been genetically modified to not only produce, but alse excrete desired products such as:
  • Sugars
  • Oil
  • Fuel
• Especially useful with Pourous Substrate Bioreactors
• In theory outside of filtering of effulent, the liquid would already contain the desired product with no extraction needed, only seperation (Outside of optional treatment of removed biomass)
  • With oil, a simple filter, then oil-water seperator would work
