Electrodes EHD-ESP for Collection of Low-Resistive Diesel Particulates]

Revision as of 23:02, 16 July 2020

Basics

  • A Device that Uses Electrically Charged Plates/Componets, and Air Flow to cause particles to become charged, then cluster on one of the surfaces, then being densified, and often removed from the flow removed as a solid
  • Useful as they can collect very fine particles, and short of acidic/basic gasses etc, they need no replacement of componets (unlike filters)
  • Can be room scale, or industrial gas treatment
