Basics

• Thin fibers of glass
• Can be used for Composite Materials or Optical Fiber
• Also if made into Glass Wool it can be used for Insulation
• "Although not as rigid as carbon fiber, it is much cheaper and significantly less brittle when used in composites." (need to double check this)
