I would say as of now - it is not quite ready for prime time -- we have had trouble of one kind or another with all of the kickstarter versions -- one more should be on the way to me for testing. Our own device I think is still overbuilt and needs another iteration before I would think about workshops - -particularly as I am not happy with the cross cut shredder as a final solution - it is not open source and it wears out on heavy use. The other group that is pretty far along is [[Protoprint]] -- I just talked to them - and they hope to finish their final design and open source the plans this summer -- that might be the best bet because they have a shredder too. All of the kickstarters are essentially only good for pellets.
