When people need money from the bank, they don't need the money per se. They need what the money can buy. So why not design a bank that provides the things that money can buy? Ultimately, that resource is hardware capital: machines, materials, and especially machines that can make materials from abundant local resources.
Thus the bank in a post-scarcity economy must go deeper and provide the productive machinery of civilization, as well as the skills to wield that machinery to free oneself from financialization - one of the greatest Structural Evils.
