Basics
- Numerous Systems (and Government Policies) aimed at reducing Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles Spent Running on Idle
Methods
- Auxiliary Power Units (Can be more efficient Generators than the main engine) (Similar concept but for heating coolant supposedly?)
- Cold Ironing (For ships. This is also typically used in the context of Container Ships , but it can apply to smaller ones as well!)
- Truck Stop Electrification
- Idle management/control
Internal Links
- Efficient Energy Use Practices (Needs a better name, essentially "don't leave the lights + fan + GIANT pc on when not in use, etc)
