The Singularity-Metacrisis Paradox states that in the presence of absolute first-principles abundance of resources (energy, wealth, knowhow, etc) - artificial scarcity (of resources, imagination) rules and many feel that human civilization is doomed.
The resolution of this paradox consists of expanding human consciousness to comprehend complex systems, and applying existing technology to cultivate a civilization beyond Artificial Scarcity - as we transition to a paradigm of the Abundance Mindset.
