If we assume that sustainable human settlements - with complete civilization infrastructures - can be created with 10,000 multi-intelligent people - then the total number of such settlements at the 2025 population level is about a million (there is close to 10 billion people on earth).
This is consistent with a prototype experimental community of tomorrow at a scale of 10000 people, on 1000 acres or approlimately on a Square Mile.
Regarding land area - one million of such 1000 acre sites would total one billion acres - or about 3% of land area of earth. If we allow for 10x the area for a natural buffer, then we are still within 30% of land usage, allowing space for nature and critters other than humans.
