Open Culture is a culture that values openness and transparency in its economic process.
The economic process translates to peoples' lifestyles - how their economic choice affects their communities and the greater world.
Open Culture relies on openness to change - or constant learning. Open organizations are Learning Organizations, such as described in Peter Senge's The Fifth Discipline and Presence: An Exploration of Profound Change in People, 'Organizations, and Society'
Open Culture is a culture which unleashes productive power. Open Culture is based on Happiness - defined as peacefulness and productivity in the book, Language and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Openness to change results in lifetong learning. This leads to an absolute creative approach for creating lasting solutions for the betterment of humankind. This is a competing option to the fear-based, insecure, and jejune behavior patterns that dominate the global economy of the last several millenia.
