Basics

  • An abbreviation for Highly Mobile Containerised Unit
  • Is either used as a building, or a machine
  • is in either a IMC, a Pallet, or a Unit Load Device
  • Can basically be a "Device in a Box" or a "House in a box" or a "Workshop in a Box" etc
  • More of a design principle than a device in itself
  • For the smaller devices (Pallets and ULDs) the design may be more purpose built due to the compact nature
  • For IMC Based HMCUs, the design will be VERY Modular
