Basics
- This page lists the measures done once a disease has gone to pandemic levels, yet hasn't been "cured" (ie no vacciene or drug treatment, only care for the symptoms if even that)
- These are both at various govenment levels, but also individual choice levels
International Level
Govenment Level
- PSAs on
- PAID SICK LEAVE (So people won't need to "come in sick" ) (If it isn't already required by international/multistate union law)
- Activate Emergency Powers
- CDC etc
- Close borders temporarily (not 100% effective, and use is debated, but more so "no travel in/out" than NO ONE CAN CROSS)
- Quarenteen Travelers
- Recall Diplomats/Travellers etc
Government Subdivision Level
- PSAs on
- PAID SICK LEAVE (So people won't need to "come in sick" ) (If it isn't already required by international/federal/state/district/county law)
- Quarenteen Infected People + People they have come in contact with within the time they were able to spread the disease
- Things like curfews, shelter in place, etc
- Enact Emergency Powers
City/Community Level

- During pandemics make everyone "work from home" and perhaps organise how to do this + become familiar with the required software and workflow beforehand
- Keep funds for the expected economic downturn and the reduction in customers
- See if your business can help
Personal/Family/Communal Group Level
What to do
- Wash your hands (not compulsively, but often with proper procedures (what you see in every restraunt bathrrom etc) )
- Social Distancing (~1 meter gap between people in public)
- Cover Sneezez/Coughs
- Go to local medical facilities if sick
- Reduce non essential travel and/or do it via alternate means (Don't fly if able, etc)
- Self quarentine if you have recently traveled to an at risk area, or have com into contact with an infected person
- Follow CDC and other Official information
- Follow local efforts such as limits on work and meetings etc
What NOT to do
- DON'T PANIC AND/OR HOARD FOOD/SUPPLIES
- Ignore guidlines etc (ie hold parties, refuse to quarentine... )
