Basics

Backround

  • Typically if one family/obuilding on a street in a suburb has a Citrus Tree the group has more oranges etc than they know what to do with a few days to a week or so into Harvest Season
  • Thus usually the whole street, and friends of the group often share the harvest of that one tree
  • If one were to plant 3-10 Trees Alongside a Community Garden this would make labor easier, while still allowing for Local Food
  • Also trees can provide shade/shelter for certain crops (See Agroforestry )
