Notes and QC
- Note that the 20:43, 8 August 2021 version has second story platform 1/2" floating above top plate of first floor. Note also that some panels on north wall are rotated. Note also the 6x6 carport posts are about 11" too long.
- Note everything here ends up at
top plate- 2nd level floor added to allow stairway calculation and positioning - see Stairs - The interior bathroom door and laundry wall are taller than 9' because they reach to the underside of the second story subfloor, or almost 10'. Maybe finish below the joists, and connect to joists? One way is to use joist blocking to tie the top - see module 52
Important Revisions
- Landing, stairs, and interior walls were originally designed with z = 0 (top of sill) so were positioned 1.5" above the slab.
- Moved landing down 1.5" and re-calculated the stairs.
- For the walls, increased the stud length to 106.125" (1.5 inches longer than standard pre-cut 9' studs) to add the extra 1.5" needed at the bottom.
- Moved wiring channel spacers up 1.5" so they will align with the exterior walls.
