I need to find/link to that remote sensing based, free tool for determining the solar capacity of a roof, it was quite neat. Basically just used the same types of data in Google Earth / Google Map's Satellite view, and it was either manual enter of ft^2, or just machine vision or something, then did a bunch of number crunching of that + latitude/elevation/weather, then gave you a score. I think i used it way back in the early days of me plotting the Fleming Island Makerspace ; that library has a perfect roof for it, at least in my non-expert opinion.
