The motivation behind ID is upgrading today's institutions, many of which are dysfunctional. For example, nobody has figured out stable democratic governance (it's always at risk of authoritarian takeover), an equitable financial system as in the distribution of wealth, well-rounded education, universal literacy, environmental integrity, and many other potential risks to the continuity of human civilization. | |||

The motivation behind ID is upgrading today's institutions, many of which are dysfunctional. For example, nobody has figured out stable democratic governance (it's always at risk of authoritarian takeover), an equitable financial system as in the distribution of wealth, well-rounded education, universal literacy, environmental integrity, and many other potential risks to the continuity of human civilization.
