Studying 10 languages instead of 1 forces one to think differently, similar to [[10x Is Easier Than 2x]]. Massive expansion forces one to think along the lines of paradigms, structures, infrastructures, commonalities, modular breakdown, components, tools, software, available knowledge repositories, best practice, topgrading; etc. In languages, this is vocabulary; grammar; sentence structure, known learning methods, online tools, exams, practice, etc.
 
20x would be to study both human languages and computer languages at the same time.

Expansion Method

Studying 10 languages instead of 1 forces one to think differently, similar to 10x Is Easier Than 2x. Massive expansion forces one to think along the lines of paradigms, structures, infrastructures, commonalities, modular breakdown, components, tools, software, available knowledge repositories, best practice, topgrading; etc. In languages, this is vocabulary; grammar; sentence structure, known learning methods, online tools, exams, practice, etc.
