Uses
Food
- Think of any time you used Lemon Zest or Lemon Juice etc
- Although also Orange Juice / Lemonade / Limeaid etc
- Also in a Confectionary Context, Citric Acid in a CONCENTRATED form and/or blotted onto a different powder is used for Sour Candies/Powders and such (Think “Sour Patch Kids” and “Warheads” etc)
In Soaps
- It can be used in lower amounts as a PH Buffer
- In larger amounts it can work as a Chelation Agent
- Related concepts are some of those Citrus Based Degreasers
