Basics

• Stuff to survive cold weather, but also do better about it the next year etc
• Goal is Zero Deaths from Hypothermia or Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Consists Of

• Open Source Warming Center
  • Also Warming Center Policy / Housing First Policy to a lesser extent
• A Sort of Kit to Pass Out to Anyone You See Out in the Cold:
  • Mylar Blanket
    • Or better yet, if available Biodegradable Metallized Plastic Film based Emergency Blanket
      • Better yet, if networked with a local knitting/quilting club etc, a PROPER blanket and/or something like Sheltersuit etc
  • Canned Water (Better alternative to Bottled Water, but similarly ultra-portable and “known” as clean etc)
  • Flameless Ration Heaters and Hot Cocoa (and/or Tea and/or Instant Coffee
    • So they can have a warm drink
