Overview
CNC Torch/Router Prototype II
Currently the frame and structure of the CNC Torch/Router Table is done. 2 years ago, we used a proprietary CNC torch table controller - the Gecko G540. Now need to source the open source controller.
Next steps:
- Evaluate OS industry standard controller options fully, select, and deploy. See OS Stepper Controllers
- Pursue RAMPS route by raplacing Pololu with Powerlolu for higher current required by CNC Torch/Router Table
- Pursue Steppernug by hosting a Design Sprint/Hackathon to develop software and firmware for the Steppernug.
