Workshop!
Projects included the construction of the dozer blade (1), cutting the slots for the spokes of the steel wheels, first with plasma torch then with a 9/16" bit on the mill.  Note: when using a plasma torch in the extreme humidity of Missouri summers the water trap must be emptied every 30 min.  Mill made a better cut and was actually faster as well. In order to keep the angle from pushing out of the vice we had to hold it down with a 2x4 which was C-clamped to the table of the mill.  See photo below.  We tried many other ways of securing it, however this jerry-rigged set up ended up best.

Also made the plate for mounting hydraulics in the cab, for up to four power cubes.  This was done out of 1/2" sheet using the punch and die on the first ironworker.

Then I made and mounted ribs for the dozer blade, custom cut to fit its new dimensions (will update those soon) out of 2x2 angle iron.

Then worked on drilling holes and putting together the boom for the backhoe:

I worked on welding the collars into the pivot plates.  Then I assisted Cory and Lucas working on the pivot of the backhoe.

*Began work on the modular redesign of the loader arms [[File:LoaderArm1a.skp]].  Still needs lots of work, look into sourcing and prices of larger bore hydraulic cylinders.

*Revisited the attachment for the [[File: DozerBlade1.skp]], made a new way of joining the arm to the blade for movement in six directions.  Here are screen shots of the preliminary designs:

Workshop! Projects included the construction of the dozer blade (1), cutting the slots for the spokes of the steel wheels, first with plasma torch then with a 9/16" bit on the mill. This is the microtrac frame with a powercube File:PTcube2.skp. Sorry its upside down, its just for size reference at this point. Also it has the Quick Connect Wheels and the wheels with tracks File:Micro fulltrack6 4.skp.
