Requirements:
- Air
- Electricity
- Fuel
- Get a voltmeter to test battery. Is it 12.6?
- If battery is below 12.6, you need to charge.
- Check if solenoid is working. If there is an audible single click, then solenoid is working. If there is a continuous set of clicks, that means battery is low voltage or there is a loose connection.
- Check connections. Touch the battery terminals one at a time, and the lugs should not be able to be moved.
- Any loose connection will make failure. So check next the battery connection to solenoid. Then check the 2 bolts tightened connection between solenoid and starter.
- Check ground. That means the negative of battery is solidly connected to the frame.
