Linux open source software runs the internet. It's time for open source hardware to do the same - for the non-virtual economy.
Distributed production is an idea whose time has come. Open source microfactories can take us there. Imagine transcendence of artificial scarcity. So we can begin to evolve - as humans.
We build industrial machines in one day and publish the plans on the internet for free (flash through 50 slides). (Stamp: Extreme Manufacturing) We also built a house with aquaponic greenhouse - in 5 days. (Stamp: Extreme Manufacturing) Open source social production works.
But we need to take it to the next level. Linux started 25 years ago - and today - volunteers provide $1B of development contributions - every year. How do we do that for Open Source hardware development?
It starts with building highly effective teams and this is a call-out to you. If you have a full time job but you are itching for disruption - this may be a good chance. Our promise to you is an extreme development environment that won't waste your time. Apply today.
