Hint: Eric - no reason why this extruder does not work for regular filaments. This is the design goal. Why do you think this would need to be a specialized extruder? Include that in a Design Rationale or How it Works section
Basics
- A variation of the Simple Extruder that is far more effective at printing flexible materials
- Currently, there is no 3 mm rubber-optimized extruder available on the market
This comes at the cost of increased complexity and cost
Used For
- Higher:
- Reliability in Flexible 3D Prints
- Speed (Due to not having to slow the extruder down as much to acheive the same quality) in flexible 3D Prints
