Basics
- A device for winding torodial coils, inductors, and transformers
- Is a rather complex mechanism (especially if full automation is desired
- Would allow for building of toroids of unusual dimentions, and possibly cheaper
Industry Standards
Existing Open Source Designs
Not sure if FULL open source, but diy etc
Minimum Viable Product
- Available in semi automatic, and full automatic modes
- Variable Speed for semi auto winding
- Software Controllable for Auto
- Can accept sizes 1cm Inner Diameter 1cm and up
- Can handle magnet wire of different gauges
Basic Design
BOM
CAD
Software
- Would cnc software work or no? (wouldn't work for semi-automated due to the need for speed control
