Basics
- An abbreviation for Electron Beam Melting
- A Powder Bed Based 3D Printing Process
- Uses a beam from an Electron Gun to melt layers of powder under vacuum
- Main advantage is the metals and alloys that can be used (Titanium)
- Is frequently used for turbine blades, medical implants, and rocket engines/parts
