=Z Axis=
#Mount the carriage side, motor side, and idler side. Tighten idler side, keep motor side loose.
#Now fit the entire axis on frame, sliding the motor side out so the clips can be attached.
#Fit motor side, and tighten motor side. Motor side can't be tightened once motor is in place.
#Loosen and take off idler side - just take out the rods. So that the axis can be removed.
#With axis removed, mount motor fully on the axis.
#Replace axis on frame
#Tighten down the idler side.

Bed

Z Axis

  1. Mount the carriage side, motor side, and idler side. Tighten idler side, keep motor side loose.
  2. Now fit the entire axis on frame, sliding the motor side out so the clips can be attached.
  3. Fit motor side, and tighten motor side. Motor side can't be tightened once motor is in place.
  4. Loosen and take off idler side - just take out the rods. So that the axis can be removed.
  5. With axis removed, mount motor fully on the axis.
  6. Replace axis on frame
  7. Tighten down the idler side.
