Modern steam engines are defined as:

  • Uniflow engine
  • Utilizing modern materials, to reduce or eliminate lubrication requirements
  • Bump valve for simplest design
  • Stationary engine (optimal single speed) for driving hydraulics; just throttle control
  • scalable in units of 5-10 hp
  • Work with Gasifier Burner and Steam Generator
