- Observe subfloor joists. Sand or caulk any final defects.
- 310 shellac the bottom edges where needed
- 45 degree shellac 515 into corners
- Right angle to subfloor
- Right angle to bottom vertical of joists.
Thus, pattern is 5 passes per bay for 4 feet of surface, not counting 310 of bottom edges. 5 passes is just right on the conservative side, if each pass is actually counted as 6" wide effective width accounting for overlap.
