A mindset where a person wants to learn something new - specifically motivated by a hunch that they could improve upon the state of art and thus contribute to fundamental progress in the field. Can also be called [[Progress Mindset]]. It is a fundamental aspect of [[Sublimation]] and [[Neuroplastic Sublimation]].

This is distinct from [[Growth Mindset]], which is a desire for lifelong learning, with implicit expansion of one's boundaries,/but not necessarily civilizations wide boundaries.
