D3D Future Work

To date, the Universal Axis is working well, with implementations of both 3D printer and CNC Circuit Mill, and initial proof of concept for the CNC Torch Table. Next steps on the 3D Printer are:

1. Expansion to 12" heated bed
2. Filament maker development
3. Expansion to 24"x24"x48" heated bed for minimal size home production grade
4. Print cluster development
5. 2-material print head (rubber/plastic composites)
6. D3D Design Workbench in FreeCAD
7. Extruder Improvements from MK8 to Prusa i3 MK2 Extruder
8. Finding improved sourcing of 8 mm rods
9. End stop simplification
10. Wiring simplification to DIY wires
11. Heated enclosure
