Basics
- A LED Tape Driver that is controlled by DMX either only, or in a DMX Mode
- These can be used for stage lighting, but they are especially useful for commercial and residencial lighting, as they allow for many colors, are energy efficient, and LED Tape is relitively cheap to scale (An entire roll goes for around 25 USD depending on length and optiones etc
Single Channel Dimmer
- These are good for single colors such as white, amber, or uv (black light)
- Can be used on their own or to complement other drivers (Especially with UV or amber, as these colors are rarely inck=luded in multi color led tape
- Ecolocity's Model
Three Channel Dimmer/Mixer
- These are good for RGB Lights, or Lights with three different color temperatures of white
Four Channel Dimmer/Mixers
- These Are Good for RGBW Lights
Five Channel Dimmer/Mixers
- These Are Good for RGB-WW-CW Lights or RGBWA Lights, Or RGBW-UV Lights
Six Channel Dimmer/Mixers
- These either don't exist, or are exceedingly rare, but they would b e the ultimate device anlong with the seven channel
- They Are good for RGBWA-CW-WW or RGBW-UV-CW-WW Lights
Seven Channel Dimmer/Mixers
- These either don't exist, or are exceedingly rare, but they would be the ultimate device
- They are good for RGBWA-CW-WW-UV Lights
Note on Driverswith more channels
- More channel drives are available such as 24 channel drivers, but these aren't really worth it as individual drivers allow for more flexible setups, and use in smaller projects later
