Basics

  • A HMCU dedicated to power generation (Most likely electrical power, but also possibly cogeneration ( CHP , steam, compressed air, compressed hydraulic fluid, etc )
  • Essentially a GIANT powercube that all sorts of power tools / temporary infastructure can use
  • Could be a way to power Light Carts, Speakers and other event electronics, Jackhammers
  • Could also be used as a receiver for various temporary power sources (Deployed solar panels etc) to collect, store, and distribute this power
  • Use the Advanced Powercube Construction Set and some sort of power generation device (Charcoal Gassifier, Diesel Engine, Turbogenerator, Stirling Engine, Steam Piston/Turbine
  • There would be a tradeoff of bulkyness of the container to small modules such as a car towed generator cart etc, but it's modularity, reliability, and sheer power may make up for this (Especially for large construction set, and event use cases)
  • Could also be useful for semi-permanent instillation in either long term builds or disaster relief efforts
