Basics
- Also known as "Geothermal Heat Pumps" (Not to be confused with Geothermal Energy )
- A Heat Pump ,but the heat sink is not the atmosphere, but the ground
- This is done usually via a buried Hydronic Heat Exchanger
- Unlike conventional Heat Pumps, they don't "freeze over" and thus can run constantly
- Although a Seasonal Thermal Energy Storage could perhaps utilize Ground Freezing
