Basics

  • A Method of Soil Stabalization (Typically used to block liquids) where the soil of an area is refrigerated via pipes acting as a heat exchanger
  • This freezes all moisture, keeping the area firm, as well as preventing water, or other liquids from passing through
  • It also has potential applications in Seasonal Thermal Energy Storage
