Introduction
As a result of the Seed Eco-Home Builder Apprenticeship (2 years competency based), an Apprentice can move at their own pace through skills of:
- Builder - $25/hr - building key aspects of the house. This progresses from framing to roof, bathroom, kitchen, electrical
- Integrated Builder - $35/hr - once an indidividual can do a
- Team Leader - $50/hr - running crews
- Organizer - $60/hr - Creating and organizing bills of materials and proficiency in material substitution. Key exam question: select a new and different location (likely where we never built before and where supply chain may differ). Inventorying shipments.
- Designer - $50/hr
- Social entrepreneur
- Movement entrepreneur
as measured through metrics of:
- Clients served
- Revenue produced
- Engagement in collaborative design
