Introduction

As a result of the Seed Eco-Home Builder Apprenticeship (2 years competency based), an Apprentice can move at their own pace through skills of, with related typical pay though exact pay will be determined by which category the worker falls into:

  1. Builder - $25/hr - building key aspects of the house. This progresses from framing to roof, bathroom, kitchen, electrical, plumbing, heat pump, PV, carport, site preparation (trees, grading), and site finishing (trenching, landscaping). Works with crew leader, who is initially the 'solopreneur' in a Seed Eco-Home operation. Value generation cap - $100/hr.
  2. Integrated Builder - $35/hr - once an indidividual can do all of the build steps above, and can quality control the same by going through specific quality control checklists for the entire build. Works with Crew Leader.
  3. Team Leader - $50/hr - running crews, as sent into the field for specific projects. Works with Operations Manager, who oversees inventory and logistics.
  4. Build Organizer - $60/hr - Creating and organizing bills of materials and proficiency in material substitution. Key exam question: select a new and different location (likely where we never built before and where supply chain may differ). Inventorying shipments. Oversees inventory and logistics. Works with Operations Manager.
  5. Designer - $50/hr. Creating new designs.
  6. Operations Manager - Finding clients and delivering builds. Building new microfactories. $75/hr + incentives.
  7. VP of Operations - $85/hr+. Does business planning and sets financial goals along with Executive.
  8. Facility Replication - Executive level position, after 4-8 year trainstarting new OSE Campuses and microfactories in different locations. $100/hr + incentives.
  9. Business Division Leader - $100/hr+. Executive position. Leads teams of Operations Managers for different geographic areas.

as measured through metrics of:

  1. Number of clients served and their ratings
  2. Revenue produced - for sustainment and growth of OSE's collaborative design and transformative programs
  3. Engagement in collaborative design and further developemnt of the GVCS and the Open Source Economy.

Enterprise vs Employment

The above pay schedule is for employees or indepenedent contractors. All knowhow is open source, so people can go on their own as well. OSE provides training, machines, financial capital, leads, certification.
