**Especially on that commercial job we were putting piles of Can Lights into a [[Soffit]] so the [[Laser Level]] helped, but then you basically had dots/hatch marks and then used a [[Hole Saw]] to kind of see things out pre-drilling, having one person zooming by with a pencil and stencil may reduce time wastage

Basics

  • Stencils made using 3D Printing (Typically FDM 3D Printing )
  • Due to their thin nature it is cents worth of filament, but provides a high quality drafting tool
  • May also work with Layout Fluid to allow for hand engraving intricate designs / highly legible text and symbols into metal with nothing but a FDM 3D Printer and a Rotary Tool
