The Singularity-Metacrisis Paradox states that in the presence of absolute first-principles abundance of resources (energy, wealth, knowhow, etc) - artificial scarcity (of resources, imagination) rules and many feel that human civilization is doomed.
The resolution of this paradox consists of expanding human consciousness to comprehend complex systems, and applying existing technology to cultivate a civilization beyond Artificial Scarcity - as we transition to a paradigm of the Abundance Mindset. This involves Complex Systems Thinking characteristic of the metacrisis community, and Collaborative Convergence fueled by Convergent Research. This also requires Divergent Thinking in individuals - while requiring convergent collaboration at scale.
