Basics
- This page outlines plans for adaptation of the Biodigester design (A Home/Community Scale Anaerobic Digestion system)
- The main market would be PLA Anaerobic Digestion and other “harder to Biodegrade “ materials
- It would allow for Pre-Combustion Emissions Control of W2E based Waste Valorization and PARTIALLY “solve” the Waste Management issue of FDM 3D Printing
- It could potentially also allow for Chemical Recycling if a Power-to-Chemicals or Methanogen / Precision Fermentation route were used (Re: Power for Fuel )
- It would allow for Pre-Combustion Emissions Control of W2E based Waste Valorization and PARTIALLY “solve” the Waste Management issue of FDM 3D Printing
- If some means of Aeration were added (Such as a Fine Bubble Diffuser or Jet Aerator )
the design could also be used for Thermophillic Aerobic Digestion
- There is also potential room for synergy of Anaerobic Digestion for MOST of the “Fuel Burn”, with the Aerobic Digestion being used to “burn up” residual pollutants (or simply just nutrients and thus BCOD depending on feedstock + desired Effluent characteristics
- Integrating Odor Emissions Control practices + equipment is also a must as well
