Introduction
From time to time emergency shelter for people or projects needs to be constructed. As we meet these needs on the Factor E Farm, we'll put up information on our designs and experiences with them.

Temporary Hay House
While the Hab Lab is under construction, we need to shelter several short-term working contributors. As we get into Fall weather, light personal tents are not as appropriate as they were in the warmer weather. That was the impetus behind this project. See: Temporary Hay House
Pocket-sized Inflatable Bag
Martin Azua constructed the "Basic House." It's made out of that mylar space-blanket stuff, only a lot more of it. If you open it one way it keeps you warm, if you turn it inside out it keeps you cool.
