2-5 PM - Workshop Session

  • 4 Students - Laser cutting and assembly of scale model - 1/4 scale model
  • 4 Students - Full Scale build of Soil Drawer
  • 3D Printed Bushings - 2 students - from modeling to real print for 1.25" shaft


Laser Cut Scale Model Materials: chip board, 1/2" square sticks for legs and vertical supports

  1. Break down machine into modules - Frame, Drawer, Arms, Hopper. See OSE_Christmas_Gift_to_the_World_2012#Redesign_for_CNC_Torch_Table
  2. Print out IKEA-Style instructionals for the 4 modules brick press - Slide_-_IKEA_Assembly_of_Brick_Press
  3. Download cutting files for scale model
  4. Import into laser cutter software, reduce size to 1/4 scale
  5. Cut with laser
  6. Log in to Wiki, YouTube, Dozuki, and Trovebox
  7. Go to Dozuki and Document these items from Development Template
