Intro

For rapid prototyping, it is useful to model parts in various ways - an easy one being paper models. There is open source 3D software to do this.

OS Options

DXF2papercraft - http://dxf2papercraft.sourceforge.net/

Status: OSE untested; after download, double-clicking on the 64 bit executable does not run under Ubuntu 15.10

Blender Export Paper Model - http://www.instructables.com/id/Papercraft-With-Blender/

Status - installed.
