Concept
- Base on the OSE Campus but inclusive, to the point that it's a model for setting up any high performance campus or any community in the world. Ie, a replicable model for the rapid learning required to build the next civilization, bypassing bureaucracy and the competitive waste of society, which currently hampers evolution of society and is responsible for current polarization via bad AI (polarizing social media). Albeit any community will have Structural Governance that allows uplift from Good to Great as much as is pallatable.
Rapid Learning and the Creation of the Next Civilization
- Overload, polarization, Hardwiring Happiness are all challenging as the software in our heads needs an update since about 25 million years ago [1] when the neocortex was born in humans.
- The route must be the RLF - which is a training/demo facility - but allows for rapid getting up to speed in no time.
- Cost - each bay would be $10k materials, one year of top talent design. So we really need to pay for the builders of the infrastructure, then it becomes exciting for participants to be self-taught in such an infrastructure.
- This could evolve to the replication model: the problem is lack of integrated skill set, which is really the product of 8 years of 4 in culture and 4 in design. The only way we can accelerate this learning is with top notch curriculum that instead of 1 month to build something - takes 1 day - while making the person feel like they did it all themselves. Thus, a crew of people is inserted into a self-learning environment like in the NoVo Rapid Learning Facility - which must be the base of any hardware infrastructure for sustainable living. Thus, reframe the learning infrastructure as the same infrastructure necessary for bringing any functioning community up top speed on the philisophy and technology of abundance - whether it's the Apprenticeship community or people who want to 'buy out at the bottom'. This means 2 distinct customer types: people who move on to become open source ecologists, and those who buy out at the bottom as a means to promote a life of higher purpose. For those happy with the rat race, they are not good customers but it is likely that the buy out at the bottom lifestyle will dominate because various parasitic economic behavior will be rooted out as there are no longer people who are desperate to make a living while compromising their own well-being. Thus, we level the playing field, end parasitic economics (flood of money to the top), provide more purpose to people, and gain a foothold in regenerative economics. It seems that the 1 square mile open sector enterprises could be a perfect base for this, with Phil's nuts as a great nucleus where such an operation could replicate. First we do Maysville, planning out an infrastructure for the school (which can begin attracting top talent) as a viable sister city to a city next door (school + community) - where by creating the sister community we prove the usability of our work in the mainstream world. This would be a proof of relevance of our work - thereby distributing wealth/knowledge more widely, and leveling the playing field, and ending the political division. The governance of the Sister City would have to be developed - if not a 'campus' - what is it? Ecoindustrial park?
- The RLF turns immediately to the possibility that you build your own tractor in 1 day - the key modules are there, and the actual fab labor is minimal. Literally the promise of life-size legos is realized. The same applies to any technology whatsoever - pending transition of that technology into an open source digital twin.
- RLF contains design capacity - remotely done - and you can do print jobs in house. 3DP, CNC cut, CNC mill with 3" round stock, are standards. Automated 3DP to ZnAl casting.
- Remote control - you can log in to our side, and operate machines via remote control over the entire facility to grow food, make fuel, make concrete, steel, CEBs, etc.
