About

There are roughly 20 skilled trades. All of these can be done in a skilled (inegrted building awareness) or unskilled (just going through the motions) fashion. If you count other required skills and integrated building practice - this list for OSE totals 31. The skilled route results in outlier performance and pay scale, on par with white collar jobs and exceeding them if one's skill set includes construction management to run crews.
